Welcome to my website!
I'm Clara, better known as claraisknitting; I like crocheting plushies and plushie-inspired accessories, as well as knitting socks and clothing items. (I also try my hand at sewing from time to time, but I'm still a beginner at that craft.)
I learned most of what I know from free patterns and experienced crafters who shared their knowledge with me; now, I'd love to help other people learn by collecting my knowledge on this website and making it freely accessible.
Here you'll find all my knitting and crochet patterns; all of them are free, and you'll be able to download a free PDF version as well.
You can find me as @claraisknitting on Instagram and Cara; there I share my latest makes and works in progress. I also have a Ribblr shop with a smaller selection of the patterns you'll see here.
Feel free to send me a message on any platform if you need help on a pattern, and if you share your makes online, please tag me, I'd love to see them!
You may sell any makes from any of my patterns; all I ask is to please credit me as the original designer, if you can, by putting my username or a link to this site on a label, product description, or the like. If you want to write a rework of one of my patterns, go for it! Post it on your page or sell it in your shop; just, please, don't resell the original pattern(s), as that would defeat the purpose of this site.
As you may easily tell, this website is still a work in progress. I plan on adding all my patterns, but first I need to brush up my webdev skills; hopefully I'll be able to make the site responsive, add some styling, and maybe even set up a language switcher so I can also post patterns in Italian! It's gonna take a while, but it will be worth it ^_^
